Duncan (Dallas-Fort Worth)

Hello world! My name is Duncan, meaning warrior and I am around 6yrs old. When I hit my foster home I was malnourished, dirty, fur missing and no formal training whatsoever. Since then, with my foster family's help, I gained weight, grew fur back (even on my healed scars), got house trained and soooooo many other things. Most importantly I learned that humans are very loving ❤️. I now know how to "dog" properly, you know, take treats, play with toys, use a dog door & best of ALL sitting on your lap getting all the love and pets. 

These are the most important things to know about me to see if I am your future best friend:

1. I am looking for my human best friend for life. I need to be able to sit with you every night and enjoy love, pets and I don't want to share with another pet. I want you to myself 

2. I get along with all humans big & small. My fosters throw get togethers often & I am a good boy

3. I get along with all other dog's & cat's (told you I'm a good boy)

4. I crate easily and currently sleep there because there was no room in the fosters bed (they have 3 pointers who sleep with them). I could be open to sleep with someone once I'm used to my new environment 

5. I walk well on a leash and only need about 20 to 30 minutes of exercise each day. I currently alternate walk one day & dog park the next. 

6. I love toys & chew on them regularly. I love to tear them up. I love pulling the fuzz of tennis balls as well. 

7. I eat good & I drink VERY messy 

8. I know some commands like off, curb, wait and am constantly learning more .

9. I love going in the car and could possibly go to work with my best friend.
