Remington (Austin)

Remington is a very sweet lady. She very much enjoys the extreme Texas heat but absolutely dislikes the rain. She will swim in bodies of water while barking like a wild lady, an interesting thing to see. She is a very loving indoor dog that does not need to be crated but also does well if needed. The only indoor chaos she can cause is the ability to open doors with levers so make sure you lock those doors if you don’t want her opening them! On rare occasions she will pop her little paws up on counters if there is something yummy left up there. She is 100% house/potty trained and has never had an accident inside. She loves to be outside and running around the backyard, sometimes for hours. She is in love with humans, every one of them! She loves children but she would be best with older children so she cannot lovingly topple them over. She can be a snuggle bug but also enjoys her solo time. She often sleeps alone but absolutely enjoys a good fleece blanket and covers. Watch out for extremely passionate kisses and ear nibbles when she’s excited. She also tends to be quite mouthy when worked up but has done very well with a training collar if needed. Unfortunately, this very sweet lady has had ongoing issues with anxiety and dog aggression. She has been living with 3 other dogs for the last 6 years and sadly has had a few encounters with two of the three. She is currently medicated with Fluoxetine and has done quite well with this. She truly needs to be a single pup and we know she will thrive even more. This sweet 9 year old girl just craves love and affection and absolutely deserves it, just without other animals in the home.
