Hello, my name is… hmmm, so many good one’s to choose from… there’s Cody, The Bull, Ice-man, Charlie-Max, and of course, Bob, but you can choose one of these, or give me your own! As long as you give me love, I’ll answer to whatever, and whenever you call!
I know you’re busy scrolling, swiping, and internet stalking, so while I got your attention, here’s my deets: I’m a 65lb, 2-3 y/o good boy, who’s a lover of all and thinks thunder storms are the perfect time to cuddle. I’m cool with the kennel, hot on the hunt of all things that fly, and love, love, LOVE being a GSP!
In an effort to make sure his next stop is his “forever home,” here’s a few things to consider. He’s a big, strong dog who loves people. This means he will put his weight on you. So keep swiping if you aren’t physically able to deal with his size, or you have people in your home that aren’t able to handle this. (FYI - He was extremely gentle and calm around the foster's niece who has special needs.)
Keeping in the theme of size, when he gets excited or starts to rough-house, he can wreak havoc quickly, so please utilize the kennel. This will calm him down immediately, making your life easier and frustrations minimal. He is also housetrained and crate trained!
I think he’d do best in a home with another dog. He loves water, does decent on a leash (but needs work), and is 100% food motivated, making training a lot easier. Don’t sleep on this dog. He is special.
