Adopt Holly!!

Holly is a great snuggler and an exceptional snorer. She will bury her head in your lap and demand scratches for all of eternity. She’ll happily follow you around and stick her nose in every cabinet you open. She also has mastered the art of walking directly under your feet. If you trip and fall don’t expect any remorse; she’ll just be thrilled to have prime access to snuffle your face.

Holly loves meeting and playing with other dogs. She hasn’t fully grasped the concept of personal space yet but doesn’t take offense when she gets corrected. Her pet peeves are baths and vacuums; she’ll calmly accept her fate during bath time (and nail trims) but she will in no way let a rogue Roomba bully her.

She is a certified food fiend and will swipe your dinner when you aren’t looking. And also when you are looking. She doesn’t love to go in her crate but will follow a handful of kibble anywhere. She settles right down 90% of the time, but when she’s feeling ornery she will try to dig to China or make a prison break. Not sure if a wire crate would hold up but an airline crate works fine.

Holly is about 8 years old and 45 lbs. She has low/medium energy and does well with daily walks. She is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. She was found abandoned in a crate and needs a little extra TLC. She has ear flap damage from being an outside dog and a few bald spots on her rump that are clearing up with proper nutrition. She does still have itchy skin and may need to be tested for allergies. She is learning basic commands and needs solid structure and supervision until she gets the hang of house manners. She has not shown any signs of resource guarding food or toys and would be happy as an only dog or having siblings to pester, I mean play with Olustee, OK
