I may not be a puppy anymore, but I have a lot of love and loyalty to give to my new family. I weigh 45 pounds, am white with brown ticks and patches, have the SOFTEST fur, and have bright, expressive eyes.

In my previous life, I was a hunting dog and mother to at least one litter of pups. Now I'm just a laid-back, easygoing girl who's looking for a calm and loving home to spend my golden years in.

My favorite activities include: sniffing and rummaging through bushes, napping in my kennel, and cuddling up with my humans on the couch. I'm not as high-energy as I used to be, but I still love to play, go to the dog park, and explore. I am very well-behaved and show no signs of aggression.

Since I spent most of my time in an outdoor kennel, I am still working on a few indoor manners. Potty training is new to me, so please let me out after drinking, playing, or napping. I don't have food aggression, but have been a little too eager with treats, especially when other dogs are going for them -- not towards the other dogs, but may have caught a finger or two with my excitement. I love to have chew toys, and since I am new to being indoors, I am still working on what's mine and what's not, so you'll want to keep an eye on me. When you leave me alone, please, please, please put me in my kennel. I LOVE my kennel and will spend a lot of my free time in there.

I think I'd do best with an older family as an only dog or with other dogs. I get along with all dogs!
