Nyah is 7 years old and in search for her perfect forever home!
Nyah needs mental stimulation, exercise, and boundaries but not as much as a young GSP. Nyah is dog selective. She has been known to have resource guarding issues with some dogs. She did great with an older male GSP that new his boundaries. She did NOT do well with a young teenage GSP. She was great with helping Ivy raise her puppies as Nyah had the same foster home. Somewhere in Nyah’s past she must have been a mama dog. Nyah’s wish is to be an only dog or with a submissive older dog with a dog owner that understands resource guarding.
Nyah is crate trained and housetrained. She will thrive on structure and routine and in any new home will need an adjustment period. The rescue will provide resources for this adjustment time. Spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is heartworm positive but has been on treatment and hopes to be negative on the next test the end of November.
