Woody has earned himself a Certified Good Boy badge! Since having foreign objects removed from his stomach/intestine, his kidneys have bounced back and he is doing great. He loves to eat his food and has approx 4 cups/day to try and put on some weight. He does require a stool softener. He has a hernia and soft stools prevent it from becoming a problem.
You’d never know he is an older guy, he always wants to go on adventures but when at home, he will either watch for squirrels in the window or be taking a nap. He loves to sleep in, especially if you put a blanket on him.
Woody does not jump, outside or inside. Low fences are no issue, he won’t get on beds either.
A couple highlights for this guy:
Woody is house trained—he will stand by the door when he needs to go out & gives a bark when he’s ready to come in.
Exciting new update:This guy is ready for his forever home! He would do excellent with an active senior, active couple, or a family that is around the house often. (Has not been around babies so would recommend children that can respect his space).
Medical Alert: Woody has kidney disease and is on a special kidney diet which has improved his kidneys greatly!
